Administration

The Administration Division establishes and oversees policy and provides direction for activities throughout the Authority. Responsibilities include ensuring overall compliance with applicable laws and regulations, as well as adherence to established goals necessary to fulfill the agency's mission. Additionally, the Administration Division includes the following departments/functions:

Public Affairs: The Administration Division handles all media requests, legislative matters, and HADC's marketing and public relations - including this website. As the "keeper of information" for HADC, public affairs can help you get the latest news or learn more about HADC policies/resources.

Bond Compliance: The Housing Authority, pursuant to State and Federal law, can issue tax-exempt and taxable bonds to finance both single family and multifamily housing. This program can provide financing that will allow a part of the development to be affordable to individuals or families at income levels below DeKalb County's median.

Procurement and Compliance: The Procurement and Compliance Department provides a wide range of services for the Housing Authority of DeKalb County by procuring the highest quality of goods and services at a reasonable price. HADC actively outreaches to Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) and Women Business Enterprises (WBE) in our efforts to promote contracting opportunities for these businesses. The Procurement and Compliance Department is also responsible for all HUD Compliance for the Authority.

Community Relations: The Housing Authority of DeKalb (HADC) supports a strong and active relationship between residents and staff. HADC is committed to working with residents, community groups, business partners, refugees, resettlement organizations and stakeholders to ensure that quality services and programs are offered to all populations served by our authority. All programs and activities developed by HADC focus on economic growth and self-sufficiency opportunities for all residents.

Information Technology: The HADC Information Technology Department implements and maintains the technology used daily to assist our clients, residents, and community in the most efficient manner.
