Partnerships
The following agencies have partnered with the HADC to provide services to our residents. HADC has entered into a collaborative partnership comprised of ten agencies, the Workforce Investment Board (WIB) and DeKalb Workforce Center, Inc. to provide a One-Stop Approach to access programs or resources that promote economic uplift opportunities and self-sufficiency.
DeKalb County Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS)
The DeKalb County Department of Family and Children Service's vision is to be an agency committed to protecting vulnerable children and adults, as well as improving the social and economic wellbeing of families by providing excellent service in a professional manner and by being accountable to DeKalb County residents.
DFCS is an active partner with HADC who serves as a referral, training, and tracking agency that works with us to ensure that residents remain in compliance with the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program, public housing guidelines, and Housing Choice Voucher program.

DeKalb County Workforce Development Department (DWDD)
The DeKalb County Workforce Development Department provides resource rooms equipped with up-to-date technology and resources to clients seeking employment and or training opportunities. The centers are located at 320 Church Street, Decatur, Georgia.
DeKalb Technical College (DTC)
DeKalb Technical College is an accredited institution of higher education that provides affordable and flexible learning opportunities in a welcoming environment for all levels of adult students. It is an open door, multi-campus, two-year technical college that prepares individuals for successful employment and fulfilling careers through state-of-the-art technical education and training. DTC actively participates in the One Stop system and provides training, seminars and workshops to clients seeking higher education or training.

Georgia Department of Labor/Covington Highway (GDOL)
The Georgia Department of Labor/Covington Highway (GDOL) provides effective linkages, resources and services to residents and HADC staff. GDOL provides training, employment seminars, and bond programs that afford residents the opportunity to gain employment.

Georgia Department of Labor, Vocational Rehabilitation Program
The Vocational Rehabilitation Program (VR) of the Georgia Department of Labor provides a wide range of services to help people with disabilities The Georgia Department of Labor, Vocational Rehabilitation Program provides business services to clients with special needs. They provide training, referrals, and resources to clients seeking employment.
Georgia Perimeter College, Center for Continuing and Corporate Education (GPC)
Georgia Perimeter College's mission is to provide knowledge for a changing world through educational programs that promote professional development and personal enrichment. GPC participates in in-service staff training sessions designed to inform clients about DeKalbWorks!

Goodwill Industries of North Georgia, Inc. (GING)
Goodwill Industries of North Georgia, Inc. continues to serve DeKalb County residents seeking employment, construction, computer and micro-enterprise program training. GING has an onsite resource center equipped with computers, phones, faxes, and telephones. GING conducts academic assessments on clients to determine their levels of proficiency.

Jewish Family and Career Services, Inc. (JF&CS)
Jewish Family & Career Services is a non-profit, non-sectarian, life-centered human services agency that manages over 40 diverse programs. JF&CS provides a range of services to youth, adults, seniors, international, disabled, companies and governmental entities.

DeKalb Chamber of Commerce, Inc
The DeKalb Chamber of Commerce, Inc. serves as a resource referral partner that coordinates programs, seminars, workshops that target economic uplift trends in DeKalb County.

Partnership for Community Action, Inc. (PCA)
Partnership for Community Action, Inc. serves as a referral service and linkage that provides supportive services, childcare, and energy assistance to clients in need. PCAÕs mission is to strengthen individuals and families in DeKalb, Rockdale, and Gwinnett counties and transition them from poverty to self-sufficiency.

Decatur- DeKalb YMCA
You will find a variety of programs for all ages and abilities...from social to recreation to community involvement. Eastlake YMCA
The East Lake Family YMCA was opened in 2001. We now serve over 8,000 members, employ 250 people, and work with over 400 volunteers each year. Some of our programs offered are teen leadership, childcare, youth sports, aquatics, day camp, youth and teen outreach, and health and wellness. The Eastlake YMCA is dedicated to building strong kids, strong families, and strong communities. To fulfill this mission, the YMCA provides child care programs, after school activities, health and fitness opportunities and volunteering in community service programs.

DeKalb County Parks and Recreation Department
The DeKalb County Parks and Recreation Department provides leisure services to all citizens of DeKalb County. In addition, they provide onsite coordination of programs and activities throughout the Tobie Grant Manor community located in Scottdale, Georgia.
