The Real Estate Division oversees the development and management of Public and Affordable Housing units. The Housing Choice Voucher Division, formerly Section 8, locally administers the housing assistance program funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The Communications and Community Development Division facilitates the distribution of information regarding Housing Authority programs, initiatives, and partnerships to our residents and the surrounding DeKalb County Community. The Construction Services Division oversees new construction projects and administers the Owner Occupied Rehabilitation Program which utilizes numerous contractors who perform rehab on individual homes. The Administration Division provides administrative support services to the Authority. Departments in this division include IT, Procurement and Compliance, Internal Audit and Human Resources. The Finance Department is responsible for all financial activities of the Authority. |
