Johnson Ferry East

Johnson Ferry East Apartments, located at 2248 Johnson Ferry Road, Atlanta, GA, were built in 1948 and acquired by the Housing Authority of DeKalb County in 1978. Due to the deterioration of the property, there is a proposed revitalization concept to improve the entire complex.

Johnson Ferry East is an established neighborhood located in north DeKalb County. The complex, consisting of 59 buildings and a community center, is located on 50 park-like acres fronting Johnson Ferry Road. 380 of the complex's 498 units are designated for elderly residents. Johnson Ferry East is convenient to Chamblee, Doraville, Buckhead and the Perimeter Center, and is accessible by public transportation.
