Interim Changes

An interim re-exam is conducted when there is a change in the family's income or composition.

The head of household should report to the Housing Choice Voucher office and complete a Change of Income and/or Family Composition form and Authorization for the Release of Information/Privacy Act Notice. When the forms are completed, they will be given to the Housing Counselor to process the interim recertification. The family will be contacted if additional information is required to complete the interim re-exam.

When the interim recertification is completed, a rent change notification letter will be sent to the family and owner notifying them of the new rental amount.
